Welcome to Darley Primary School!
On behalf of the staff, pupils and local community may I wish you a warm welcome to Darley Primary School. We are very proud of our school and are delighted that our recent Ofsted inspection (March 2012) recognised that:
'Darley Community Primary School provides a happy, safe and caring environment for all pupils. The school has a particular strength in the way that it welcomes and supports pupils who arrive at different times of the year and with very varied earlier experiences'.
This website will give you a flavour of school life and the wonderful learning opportunities that take place; we are committed to providing a high standard of education to enable all our children to achieve their potential within a stunning location. We are determined to provide a creative and stimulating curriculum where our children are inspired to learn and to develop a love of life-long learning. We provide opportunities for our children to develop their skills in all areas to enrich their whole learning experience.
Our school is built on five key areas - excitement, friendship, happiness, co-operation and determination and it is these key elements that helps inspire us to learn.
Our School is a full strategic member of the Harrogate and Rural Teaching School Alliance - a group of local schools who work collaboratively to improve outcomes for children. As a school we believe in developing a self-improving, self-sustaining school system to ensure that all our stakeholders realise their potential. For more information about the Alliance click on the logo on the left. To discover more about Darley School, please contact us and make an appointment to see us at work and play.
